For 16 years we’ve been looking at copywriting from a very different perspective, a tearing up the rulebook and doing it our own way perspective.
When we launched Scribbles we saw that the established wisdom was that copywriters should charge an hourly rate… so we decided to do things differently, opting for fixed fees for budget clarity and peace of mind.
We saw the established wisdom was that copywriters should charge for revision requests… so we decided to do things differently and offer unlimited revisions at no extra cost, ever, placing the responsibility for quality on our shoulders, not yours.
We also saw that established wisdom dictated that copywriters should niche, become ‘specialists’ in a single field. However, as we enjoy the variety of what we do, again, we decided to do things differently because we knew that by asking just the right questions we could tap into our client’s industry wisdom enabling us to write for sectors as diverse as legal, finance, leisure, property, biotechnology, IT and consultancy, to name but a few.
In fact, the only thing we learned from established wisdom in our field was that it had nothing to teach us and it seems that our clients agree.
From the very beginning we’ve focused on working with those we felt best placed to help – SMEs, small businesses and dynamic entrepreneurs, those looking to make their mark, to make a difference in the world, to build something strong, significant and lasting.
